Las Vegas Author Publishes New Book

The Comstock Conspiracy, a new book by Thomas R. Barnett, Jr., has been released by RoseDog Books.
From a range war in Idaho to the gold mines of Virginia City, Nevada, the story follows the adventures of a hired gunman, Jack Malone, who comes to Paris Wells, Idaho, to stop a range war between the Mormon settlers and Dalton Gallagher, who owns the lawless town of Rio Seco. Here he meets Slim Elliot, a gambler who assists Jack Malone in solving the dispute.
After reaching an agreement with Dalton Gallagher, Slim offers Jack Malone a job in Virginia City, where he becomes entangled in a web of conspiracy, murder, and kidnapping. Meanwhile, things turn sour in Paris Wells.
Thomas R. Barnett, Jr., is a retired project manager who received his master’s certificate in project management from Villanova University. Thomas is also a computer programmer and does microcontroller design. With writing as a sideline, his first novel, Melanie, was published in 2004 and is a romantic adventure that explores the dangers of long-wall coal mining in Utah.
Thomas and his wife, Irene, have been married for thirty-five years and have raised eleven children, six of whom were adopted special-needs children, three still living at home, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
