San Diego DUI Defense Lawyers Warn Against Drinking and Driving During the Holiday Season

The San Diego DUI defense lawyers at the law firm known as the United Trial Group (http://www.unitedtrialgroup.com) hereby announce that with the beginning of the annual holiday season, area residents who are celebrating in any form or fashion should take meaningful and effective steps to avoid drinking and driving. The San Diego DUI defense attorneys at the firm would also like to advise those who have been arrested for California DUI to act quickly to build a defense, as those accused of this crime have only 10 days to attempt to retain their driving privileges.
The holidays are upon us, as is the season that precedes them that involves many different celebrations. This is the time of year when people tend to reflect, relax and rejoice with family, friends and colleagues, but this is also the time of year when California DUI arrests become extremely prevalent. The San Diego DUI defense lawyers at the United Trial Group would like to provide ideas for those celebrating the holidays that will allow them to do so without taking on the risk of driving.
These ideas include:
1.    Assign a designated driver before leaving for the night to handle all driving duties and to avoid consuming alcohol.
2.    Obtain at least two phone numbers of local taxi cab companies to have on-hand to call if everyone in the group has consumed alcohol. Cab fares are generally much less expensive than the fines and costs associated with a California DUI.
3.    Plan ahead to stay the night at the location where the celebration occurs so that there is no reason to attempt to drive after consuming alcohol.

Themed Christmas Gift Exchange Ideas to Make Your Holiday Party Memorable

remember.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) December 4, 2010
It’s that time of year when the final details are being made for the Christmas Party Gift Exchange, but how can you make this year's Gift Exchange different.
Sarah Partigi of http://PartyGameIdeas.com, notes that one of the ways large groups can change their white elephant gift exchange is to add a theme like re-gifting, make me laugh, food & drink or games just to name a few.
These themes add fun and suspense to the event and often make it a memorable as guests open very unexpected gifts.
For groups of friends consider weaving in an activity that you all enjoy with your gift exchange. Consider a Holiday Trivia, Billiards or Texas Hold’em Gift Exchange party as a way create a very unique event. Party Game Ideas has directions on how to take these activities and turn them into a gift exchange party at PartyGameIdeas.com.
These are gift exchanges that you can use or you to create your own unique gift exchange using our ideas. One thing to note is that these novelty gift exchanges add to the length of the exchange, so plan accordingly.
Another gift exchange option is the Yankee Swap that involves swapping gifts rather than steal, but even this game can be spiced up with a twist. Consider going through the process of selecting and swapping gifts and once you are done, let everyone know you are now going to play the Left / Right gift passing game where your gift may now be your neighbors or if you are lucky come back to you.
Making this year’s gift exchange different is easy when you add a theme, twist or fun activity to the mix. So plan ahead and make your gift exchange unique and memorable. For information on hosting a Christmas gift exchange visit http://PartyGameIdeas.com.

Snowfall Doesn’t Stop the Saxon Team from Delivering Furniture

The run up to Christmas is always a challenge for most companies in the UK and even more so if snow arrives as early as November. The Transport department and delivery teams at Saxon are extremely busy as most customers want to have their Chesterfield Sofas delivered in time for Christmas. When the snow arrives as it has over the past week it makes this process extremely challenging and somewhat dangerous.
On Wednesday 2nd December Saxon’s delivery team Tony Sandiford and Chris Brierley went to tremendous lengths to ensure deliveries were made in and around Cumbria. When they arrived at Milnthorpe, they faced a steep drive way covered in treacherous snow which screamed no entry. With the impossibility of getting a vehicle up the drive, the delivery team were determined to deliver the promised furniture. The team asked to borrow a sledge from the customer and with mighty strength they pulled the products up a steep incline. As a result two leather chairs were safely delivered to one happy customer.
The customer was clearly impressed by the dedication and initiative both Tony and Chris had shown and had taken photographs as evidence. The customer then kindly emailed a couple of pictures to Saxon and thanked them for their efforts.

Omega Cookie® Makes the Perfect Healthy, Holiday Gift

Now that the holiday shopping frenzy has begun, two Florida doctors suggest giving the gift of good health by giving cookies.
You heard that right. Cookies.
These cookies aren’t the kind left out for Santa---the ones loaded with sugar, butter and flour. These cookies contain all good stuff -- loads of omega-3, calcium, fiber, vitamin D and are gluten-free with less sugar than an apple.
The Omega Cookie, created by Dr. Bo Martinsen and Dr. Anne-Marie Chalmers of Ambo Foods, LLC in Venice, Fla. has grabbed national attention by winning fans and awards for its innovation. Each Omega Cookie contains 2000 mg EPA/DHA--- the equivalent of eating a salmon dinner or taking seven capsules of omega-3 fish oil. The cookie holds 41 patent claims.
Omega-3, found abundantly in fatty fish like salmon and tuna is linked to preventing heart disease, lowering triglyceride levels and relieving joint pain.
Today, several cookie products on the market tout omega-3 content. However, Omega Cookie contains 20 to 80 times more omega-3 EPA/DHA than the leading omega-3 cookie or cereal contenders.

Better Bathrooms Voted Best Value Retailer of 2010

Better Bathrooms.com, the online bathroom retailer, has today announced that it has scooped an award for being one of the best value retailers of 2010. The award, handed out by the style website, Homes & Bargains, was voted for by a panel that was looking for retailers who were providing quality homeware, value for money and excellent customer service, 3 things Better Bathrooms prides itself on.
Being inducted into the Home & Bargains Roll of Honour underlines the great success and progress that Better Bathrooms has made over the last 12 months and comes as an early Christmas present for the company and its employees. The company has employed over 40 new staff this year alone and this award confirms their status as one of the fastest growing online companies in the UK.
It is surely down to the continually low prices Better Bathrooms offers on its bathroom suites, through both its stores and its website, http://www.betterbathrooms.com, which has seen the retailer pick up such a prestigious award.
